Glossa’s Folklore Museum

The Folklore Museum of Glossa is maintained in the village center of Glossa and above the church of Kimisis tis Theotokou. In this two-storey traditional house are exhibited the traditional costumes of the island, wooden furniture, sofas and chests as well as household items of that era. Also, the interior of the house is decorated by items made ​​of porcelain and other ornaments brought by sailor men from their traveling and housewives used to place them on top of the staircase as a sign of the financial strength of the family.
