Moving Around Skopelos

Τhe local bus station is housed just outside the harbor of the capital (Chora). Bus routes and itineraries are very well organized in frequency and with informational tables at each stop. When you reach the port you will find buses to Glossa and Loutraki, serving destinations for all the villages of the island. Movements can be performed with local taxis of the island.

The road network of the island is suitable for moving through private or rented car. It covers 35 km from the capital up to Loutraki and there is easy access to most parts of the island. Visitors, who choose this way to travel, should not miss the passage from the inner mountain road of the island which constitutes a unique piney path with panoramic views.
